- Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street
Nguyen Hue is a popular site of Ho Chi Minh City. This is the first pedestrian street that is lively every day. Tourists will find someone in Pikachu costumes, visitors sitting on the floor and enjoying some street food, concerts, and even the occasional art exhibition.
Nguyen Hue Street is a big walking promenade in the middle of District 1. This pedestrian street is flanked by some beautiful French colonial architectural piece of arts like the People’s Committee, the Rex Hotel and a luxury shopping mall. In front of the People’s Committee, tourists can easily see a statue of Uncle Ho Chi Minh and a fountain show by night.
At the other end of Nguyen Hue, everyone look at the Saigon River from where he/she can enjoy a nice view with a breeze. - Saigon City Hall
The City Hall is an architectural masterpiece completed in 1908 and still functions as a government office, so tourists cannot go inside. But they can appreciate the beauty of the structure from the outside as it looms at the north end of the Nguyen Hue pedestrian street through taking some pictures with it. The cream and yellow architecture gets lit up with floodlights come nighttime and is a spectacular sight.
The building was designed by French architect P.Gardes and shaped on City Hall in Paris. It has a main hall, rectangular wings and sharpened trees decorate the facade. The famous bell tower, a feature common too many European town halls, sits on top on a pyramid like pedestal and imparts style and elegance to the structure.
Travelers can find Saigon City Hall at the northern end of Nguyen Hue on Le Thanh Ton Street. It is located in District 1 shopping precinct and just around the corner from the Municipal Theatre. It’s also just a short walk from other popular sites such as Notre Dame Cathedral, the Saigon Central Post Office, Reunification Palace, The War Remnants museum, Ben Thanh Market and Bitexco Financial Tower. - Bitexco Financial Tower
The observation deck of the Bitexco Tower, the tall building in the city, will give visitors a view of bird of the city which is bustle from 52 floors. The photos will surely make tourists’ social network followers dizzy.
The structure of Bitexco Financial Tower is received an “Excellence in Structural Engineering” award from NCSEA in 2011 and is currently the 124th building in the world. This building delivers breathtaking 360 degree views across the city and the Saigon River. Beautiful views are also enjoyed from the 50th and 51st floor restaurants, particularly at night when the metropolis below glitters above. There are also local art exhibitions held on the Sky Deck, where you can also purchase souvenirs, including textiles and locally produced tea.

- Bui Vien
Bui Vien is the second pedestrian street in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Walking on the Bui Vien Street, travelers can see people dancing in the street under neon lights and sidewalk bars, tourists can capture all of these thing in one shot of photos.
Bui Vien Pedestrian Street is also called “backpackers area” which consist of roughly four streets and some small interconnecting alleys. To have dinner here is very affordable and visitors will have a delicious meal including drinks with Vietnamese, Indian, Italian, and Chinese cuisine.
On Bui Vien street, tourists can find the interesting bars that offer drinks with a beautiful view of the bustle city.
